How will you make an impact in this role?

Within the ICS New Cardmember Acquisition team, the Lead Generation channel is critical for acquisition of some of the highest spending Small Business (SBS) and Corporate Card prospects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the development and execution of a strategy to drive quality lead referrals via internal and external partnerships while focusing on strategic objectives to scale existing referral programs and identify new partnership models that have opportunity to scale.

This is a dynamic role providing an opportunity to lead and/or partner with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes for our business. The ideal candidate will have a passion and knowledge for marketing as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the Partners Plus Referral Program - an incentive based referral program for premium commercial clients to refer their networks to American Express.
  • Execution of strategic marketing initiatives to scale the Partners Plus Program.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to optimize partner incentive structures in order to drive quality referrals at attractive ROIs
  • Champion operational excellence and compliant sales practices by providing tools such as training, scripting/talk tracks, and collateral.
  • Deliver capability enhancements to make it easier for partners to submit referrals, partnering with tech teams to gain their ongoing prioritization and partnership.
  • Understand the competitive commercial landscape and market trends, and how our strategies need to evolve to ensure marketplace advantage.
  • Partner with ICS Sales organization to optimize acquisition strategies across the channel.
  • Conduct data analysis and segmentation to optimize targeting and monitor downstream CM behaviors to ensure we are acquiring profitable audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in partner management and marketing.
  • Proven ability to drive tactical results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively and consistently demonstrates the value of partnering with American Express.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to seamlessly multi-task and reprioritize.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and demonstrated tenacity to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Team player who enjoys working in a fun, smart, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Executive presence with ability to influence conversations and brings others along with data.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, both written and verbal with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of GCS products and/or sales practices preferred.
