PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

As the Analyst, Financial Planning - Operations, you will independently lead the financial planning process for a portfolio of business units, working with key stakeholders to ensure precision in forecasting and providing high-quality analyses to operational and finance leadership. This position will also lead the annual budgeting process, maintain accurate expense forecasts, and offer financial analytical insights into operations.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  1. Translate operational changes into a financial forecast with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Proactively seek improvements in the forecasting process; identify key drivers while gaining a thorough understanding of the business model.
  3. Support business units by developing a comprehensive, detailed annual budget for all cost centers, working closely with operational leaders to develop and incorporate initiatives.
  4. Continuously improve reporting and analysis for key stakeholders, utilizing all available systems to automate key reports and provide insightful analyses.
  5. Assist in ad hoc requests from business unit leaders, providing support in an accurate and timely manner.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  2. Continuous process improvement mindset, inquiry skills, and strong attention to detail.
  3. Some experience or knowledge with MS Excel for budgeting, planning, modeling, etc.
