How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Western Canada finance team is based in Calgary, Alberta, and plays a key role in the financial success of the Western Region. The Finance Team reports directly to the President of Western Canada and is involved in all strategic decision-making for the region. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance for the Western Region. The team in Calgary includes 1 Senior Analyst, 1 Junior Analyst, and 1 VIE position. The team works collaboratively to achieve goals and the VIE will be involved in all finance deliverables, gaining comprehensive understanding of the business. Responsibilities include providing insights through data analysis and forecasts, monitoring financial data, and collaborating across teams to meet financial objectives and enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities:
  • Analyze data trends, operational metrics, and key drivers to assess business performance
  • Deliver sales variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and trend summaries
  • Update the standard cost model for product costing and plant allocation
  • Develop KPIs and BI reports for the Western region
  • Create dashboards and reports for operational monitoring
