Job summary

MNP in Canada is seeking an Analyst for our Consulting Team. You will provide detailed analysis, strategic guidance, and action planning to help clients balance current needs with long-term goals.

You’ll support proposal development, financial modeling, and report preparation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel may be required, and prior consulting experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree related to finance or business is required or asset.
• Experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proposal, planning and implementation of consulting engagements.
• Perform detailed work involving research, interpretation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
• Conduct financial modeling, business planning, feasibility studies and strategic/operational planning.
• Support the design, development, formatting and proofreading of high‑quality reports, proposals and slide decks.
• Contribute to new ideas to improve work processes using internal programs and systems.
• Coordinate workflow and tasks related to proposal creation, production and delivery.
• Attend internal courses to develop consulting knowledge.
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the proposal, planning and implementation of consulting engagements
• Perform detailed work involving research, interpretation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
• Perform financial modeling, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program reviews, program redesigns and other forms of management consulting
• Support the design, development, formatting and proof reading of high-quality professional reports, proposals, slide decks and correspondence
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
• Coordinate workflow and perform tasks related to proposal creation, production and delivery
• Attend internal MNP courses to further develop consulting knowledge
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills And Experience

• Undergraduate degree in finance, business, project management or other combination of advanced post-secondary training and relevant professional experience is an asset
• Previous work experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment is an asset
