Job summary

Bitvavo is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own the employee lifecycle across our pan-European, multi-entity setup, supporting onboarding to offboarding and keeping core HR processes running accurately.

You will bring structure to high-volume operational work, develop deep expertise across our European entities, and collaborate with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and managers to provide high‑quality operational support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in People Ops or HR Generalist roles.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the Dutch market with Dutch labour law.
• Experience in fast-paced tech or scale-up environments.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multi-entity admin processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for employee inquiries via ticketing system.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, visas, leaves and data changes.
• Input and validate data in Personio.
• Prepare payroll mutations and support payroll accuracy.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding end-to-end.
• Create and maintain People Ops docs, templates and checklists.
• Maintain data accuracy and contribute to monthly reporting.
• Escalate complex issues to Team Lead with context.
• Build knowledge of People Ops processes and HRIS capabilities.
• Collaborate with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, managers.
