Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist for the Alberta Calgary location to manage end-to-end onboarding, KYC refreshes, and non-AML terminations for Commercial Banking clients. You will coordinate with the Commercial Onboarding Team and bankers to collect information, obtain signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in client onboarding and KYC processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and clients.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding, KYC refresh, and related activities for CCB clients.
• Coordinate with Commercial Onboarding Team and internal partners.
• Gather information, obtain signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Explain requirements to clients and provide status updates throughout onboarding.
• Review high-risk exposures and escalate issues per policy.
