Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking a Director for Oils, Fuels, NGLs, and Biofuels Americas Consulting. The role focuses on developing new business, coaching junior staff, and leading high-complexity projects across the Americas energy space, with travel as needed.

The candidate will lead consulting engagements, collaborate with global teams, and drive revenue growth while building relationships with clients in the oil, fuels, and biofuels sectors.

Qualifications

• Downstream oil industry experience essential
• Refinery process engineering/operations/economics experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree and a graduate degree in engineering and/or business preferred
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education considered
• Commercial track record of business development and delivery of large, complex projects
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills at executive level
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams
• Highly organized with time and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Support and/or manage consulting projects across midstream/downstream oil and energy transition studies
• Provide consulting/technical leadership and coaching to junior colleagues
• Lead local consulting business development and close sale of new leads
• Develop relationships within industry to generate recurring consulting business
• Coordinate with research groups to leverage Energy insights and analysis
• Collaborate with Energy global consulting colleagues
