We are accepting applications for the following Non-Union 1.0FTE temporary Health and Wellness Officerat the Education Centre in Seaforth.
Hours of Work: 35h ours per week, 12months per year
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: March 31, 2027, with possibility of extension.
Rate of Pay: $74,297 - $86,522as of September 1, 2025, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Employment for for Non-Union, Management, Administrative and Supervisory Employees.

Reports to: Human Resource Services Manager
Summary: The Health and Wellness Officer plays a key role in supporting employee well-being and attendance support across the Board. Working collaboratively within the HRS team, this position manages short- and long-term disability claims, WSIB claims, return-to-work programs and attendance support. The Officer also promotes wellness initiatives, injury prevention, and fosters a culture of health and consistent attendance.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and experienced in disability and attendance management within a unionized environment. They will maintain confidentiality while building strong relationships with staff, supervisors, union leaders, and other stakeholders.
