Job summary

Alliance Employment Services is seeking an AMADA CNC setup operator in Woodbridge, Ontario to set up, program and operate AMADA turret punch presses. You will handle tooling, perform first-piece verifications, read blueprints/CAD output and adjust programs as needed.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on AMADA experience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet production targets while adhering to safety procedures. Shifts include overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on AMADA CNC punch press setup and operation.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD/CAM output, and perform first-piece inspections.
• Experience with CNC edits, tool selection, and setup documentation.
• Familiarity with calipers and micrometers for QC checks; meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate AMADA turret punch presses.
• Handle tooling, first-piece verification and QC checks.
• Read drawings/CAD output and adjust programs as needed.
• Troubleshoot machines and maintain quality and production targets.
