Job summary

Malach Metal & Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Metalworking Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating turret punch and Salvagnini panel-bending systems, with exposure to AMADA and BLM lasers.

You will read drawings, set up tooling, adjust parameters, and ensure parts meet specifications with precision. The environment emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork within a busy shop floor.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with Salvagnini punch and panel-bending equipment.
• Ability to set up tooling and adjust CNC parameters.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret job orders, drawings, specifications and CAD data.
• Set up, adjust and operate CNC metalworking equipment (cut, punch, bend, form).
• Operate Salvagnini punch, shear and panel-bending systems; assist with lasers as needed.
• Load programs and adjust parameters based on material and tooling.
• Inspect parts using calipers, tapes and protractors for conformance.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor adjustments as required.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document production records.
