Job summary

ChampionX in Edmonton, AB is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will perform machine set-ups, operate CNC equipment, and run production to meet schedule, while ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires reading blueprints, understanding G and M codes, and experience with Okuma, HAAS or Fanuc controls. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a rotating shift, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a CNC Operator Advanced role.
• Must read blueprints and drawings.
• Must be able to read and understand basic programming (G & M codes).
• Working knowledge of measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CNC machine and perform set-ups according to the production schedule.
• Perform visual and gauging inspections to ensure part quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Complete all associated paperwork, including quality and cleaning plans.
• Work in a safe manner following Lean Manufacturing guidelines and maintain equipment.
