• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly with data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

AltaGas is looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our team for a four-month internship. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting sustainability reporting, data collection, and projects that contribute to AltaGas’ environmental and corporate responsibility initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As a Sustainability Intern, you will:

• Support sustainability reporting and data collection related to ESG goals and initiatives.
• Assist with organizing, reviewing, and analyzing sustainability and environmental data.
• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to support sustainability initiatives.
• Assist with research, reporting, presentations, and other sustainability-related materials.
• Support ad hoc projects and priorities across the Sustainability team.

• An interest in sustainability, ESG, environmental performance, and the energy industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
