Job summary

Sunshine Village Corporation seeks an Assistant Hotel Operations Manager at Sunshine Mountain Lodge to ensure outstanding guest experiences by supporting the Hotel Operations Manager’s oversight of the alpine hotel. This role directs Front Desk, Bell Desk, Maintenance and Housekeeping in the Manager’s absence.

The job requires 2-3 years in hotel leadership, a Hotel Management degree, strong Microsoft and Maestro PMS skills, and the ability to lead a team. Living on-site 5 days/week is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a hotel leadership role.
• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management.
• Strong computing (Microsoft) and PMS systems (Maestro preferred).
• CPR/First Aid training is an asset.
• Proven ability to lead a team and work independently or in a team.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel operations in the absence of the Manager.
• Oversee Front Desk, Bell Desk, Maintenance and Housekeeping.
• Ensure guest service standards and exceed expectations.
• Coordinate with HR on performance reviews and staffing.
• Maintain documentation, schedules, payroll accuracy.
