GardaWorld in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking an Airport Terminal Security Guard to deliver high-quality customer service while enforcing security protocols.

You will welcome visitors, verify identities, patrol for risks, respond to incidents, and coordinate with emergency teams. The role requires a Manitoba security license, Canada work authorization, and the ability to work Saturdays through Wednesdays 1500–2300. GardaWorld offers training and uniform.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the security industry is an asset.
• RAIC would be an asset but not mandatory.
• This position requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency due to airport clearances.

• Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities For Airport Terminal Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Checking Bags of the Passengers before departure
• Making the Passengers aware about the protocols at the premises
• Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterrent, and report writing/note taking.
• Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
• Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
