Job summary

Perimeter Aviation is seeking a Ramp Agent in Kamloops to assist with sorting, loading and unloading baggage, freight and equipment for company aircraft. The role emphasizes on-time performance and strong customer service in a dynamic ramp environment.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and can obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit. Previous ramp or warehouse experience is an asset, with safety training a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must qualify for and obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
• Previous warehouse and/or Ramp experience is asset.
• Previous aviation operation experience is asset.
• Forklift license or training is asset.
• Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is asset.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload baggage, freight and equipment
• Tow and marshal aircraft, drive and fuel equipment, de-ice aircraft, install and uninstall aircraft seats and equipment, service aircraft lavatories, keep airside areas organized and clean
• Perform physically-demanding tasks safely and efficiently
• Ensure on-time performance policies and procedures are met
• Ensure customer service standards are met or exceeded
• Communicate with Ramp Agents, Ramp Supervisor and Aircraft Load Coordinator to meet deadlines safely
• Monitor customer safety and assist customers in a friendly manner
• Adhere to safety policies and complete training
• Handle customer baggage and airfreight with care
• Assist Flight Crew with off-loads and ramp setup
• Complete general warehouse duties and related tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned
