Job summary

Vancouver Airport Authority in Vancouver is seeking an Airside Coordinator to safeguard airfield operations, coordinate projects, and drive safety compliance. You will work closely with airlines, contractors, regulators, and internal teams to manage risks and ensure efficient aircraft movements during regular and conditional operations.

The role requires experience in airside environments, leadership capabilities, and regulatory knowledge, with bilingual capacity as an asset.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in an airport airside environment with a related certificate or diploma in Airside Operations or Operations Management.
Experience leading and coordinating teams, with a history of building solid relationships and safety focus.
Strong knowledge of TP312 Aerodrome Standards and good verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain airside procedures, safety programs, and operational plans for certification and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate airside operations, projects, and construction activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Collaborate with airlines, regulators and internal stakeholders to support airfield activities and operational changes.
Identify and resolve operational issues, assess risks, and implement solutions to minimize safety and operations impacts.
