Job summary

Airbus Canada in Mirabel, Quebec, is seeking an Aircraft Performance Engineering Professional to join the Flight Physics team. You will develop performance tools for the A220 programme and work with teams in Toulouse to harmonise methods and data.

The role requires 5+ years in aircraft performance, and coding experience in Python, VBA and C++. You will analyse flight test data, author models, and support cross-site collaboration across Montreal and Toulouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft performance.
• Knowledge of coding languages such as Python, VBA, C++.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculation, analysis and documentation of certified and operational aircraft performance data.
• Provide expertise of aircraft performance to other engineering groups.
• Participate in the creation and/or update of aircraft level models through analyses and/or flight test data review.
• Redact and review technical reports demonstrating compliance with airworthiness regulations.
• Participate in the transformation of Airbus Canada engineering capabilities by defining new ways of working in a new Information Management environment.
