Job summary

Airbus's A220 program in Mirabel, Quebec is seeking an Engineering Specialist, Air System Sizing (Performance) to define sizing and simulate thermodynamic performance of pressurization, air conditioning and anti-icing systems.

You will collaborate with suppliers and a Multi-Functional Team to ensure on-time, on-budget performance, support testing and certification campaigns, and drive lifecycle optimizations across air/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of sizing, thermodynamics, or performance analysis experience in aeronautical systems.
• Proficiency in air systems (ATA 21/30/36) and fluid/thermal simulation tools.
• Fluency in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Size air systems (pressurization, air conditioning, anti-icing) to meet aircraft requirements.
• Model and simulate thermodynamic performance to ensure airworthiness and energy efficiency.
• Define and verify performance requirements with interfaced systems and suppliers.
• Analyze impact of technical changes on performance and certification margins.
• Support flight and ground tests by analyzing data to correlate models.
• Present analysis results and design justifications to management and authorities.
