Job description

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for planning and logistics? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where precision, coordination, and execution are the keys to success? If so, we’re looking for someone like you to step into the role of Line Logistics & Planning Manager—a pivotal position reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

In this role, you’ll take charge of the planning and logistics that power our manufacturing operations. From aligning production goals with big-picture strategy to ensuring every asset and resource is in the right place at the right time, your work will directly impact our ability to meet targets, exceed expectations, and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Design and lead planning strategies that turn company objectives into operational success.
  2. Own the master production schedule—balancing resources, timelines, and priorities like a pro.
  3. Oversee readiness of key assets and equipment, ensuring nothing stands in the way of production.
  4. Lead the planning team in building clear, executable work packages that streamline workflow.
  5. Anticipate challenges in production and implement smart solutions before they impact timelines.
  6. Partner with engineering to plan for new modifications and production ramps.
  7. Manage and optimize ERP work order systems to support all stakeholders across operations.
  8. Work closely with supply chain teams to prevent material shortages and ensure seamless production.
  9. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing planning team, supporting their growth and success.
  10. Coordinate staffing and resources, scaling efficiently with internal teams and contractors when needed.
  11. Monitor performance metrics to keep operations sharp, efficient, and always improving.
  12. Ensure compliance while continuously identifying ways to simplify and enhance planning processes.
  13. Champion a culture of excellence, ownership, and innovation within the planning function.
  14. Proactively address performance gaps, collaborating with others to implement effective improvements.

What You Bring:
  1. AME license, aviation-related or engineering degree (Master’s or MBA is a great plus!).
  2. PMP certification.
  3. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing logistics/planning, including 5+ years in leadership.
  4. Tech-savvy, with strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP system skills.
