Qualifications

  • Valid Transport Canada AME licence for the aircraft category.
  • 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and manuals.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance drawings.
  • Commitment to aviation safety and attention to detail.
  • Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Inspect aircraft structures, engines, systems and components for defects or wear.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics-related issues.
  • Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with manuals, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Conduct functional checks and support aircraft testing after maintenance.
  • Identify and report defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations, procedures, and HSE requirements.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, engineering and operations to meet availability targets.
  • Support audits, quality inspections and safety improvement initiatives.
