Job summary

Ornge in Sudbury, Ontario, invites applications for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our air maintenance team at the new Sudbury base. You will perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and installations in accordance with company policies.

The role requires TC M1/M2 licenses, experience with AW139/PC12 assets, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, rotating shifts, and a defined contribution pension.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current and valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license.
  • Experience AW139 or PC12 considered an asset.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and e-mail.
  • Valid Canadian passport or ability to work in Canada and ability to travel to the U.S.A.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.

January 2026 Rate: $75,022.79-$92,889.33 as per Collective Bargaining Agreement (OPEIU) In addition to base salary, a monthly $1793.47 applied as applicable up to the annual amount of $20,000.00*

Hours of Work
  • Rotating day shift pattern of 5 days on, 5 days off, 4 days on and 5 days off
  • May be required to work various shifts and overtime, including days, weekends, statutory holidays, and on-call in a 24/7 environment.
  • As this is not a touring position.
Skills and Qualifications
