Job summary

Rise Air in Saskatoon is seeking a Ground Service Attendant to perform ground duties, assist passengers, marshal aircraft, de-ice, clean and prepare aircraft, and manage baggage and cargo on a casual, on-call basis. The role requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions.

The position starts at $19.18 per hour and may involve flexible scheduling. Prior aviation exposure is an asset; candidates must meet health and safety standards and be willing

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 1–2 years of progressive customer service experience.
  • Willingness to work on-call, casual hours (0–19 hours per week).
  • Able to lift 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours under varying conditions.
  • Prior aviation experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist flight crews and customers requiring assistance to board or deplane.
  • Safely operate and maintain ground support vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform custodial duties around facilities and grounds.
  • Marshall aircraft.
  • De-ice and anti-ice aircraft.
  • Groom and detail aircraft interiors/exterior as needed.
  • Handle baggage and cargo, load and unload aircraft.
