Job summary

Genesys in Toronto offers a Software Developer Intern opportunity to build web experiences and backend services used by 8,000+ organizations worldwide. You will contribute production-quality code with modern frontend technologies, cloud services, and AI-enabled platforms while learning from seasoned engineers.

You'll work across the development lifecycle, gaining exposure to scalable web apps, automated testing, and AWS technologies, with 1–2 days in the downtown office per week and a hybrid

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of developing responsive single-page web apps using modern JS frameworks.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of cloud concepts and AWS technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-quality, responsive web applications and backend services.
• Contribute to next-generation Web UIs using modern JavaScript/TypeScript (Vue.js).
• Implement product enhancements and resolve defects while maintaining quality.
• Build unit tests and automation to strengthen software quality.
• Collaborate with teammates through code reviews and agile practices.
