Job summary

Jobtailor in Toronto, Canada, is seeking a student intern to provide strategic support to the AI 4 IT Transformation Office. You will partner with business and technology leaders to resolve ambiguous problems and develop actionable recommendations related to AI agents and agentic solutions.

Qualifications

• Preference for MBA students or undergraduates who have completed two co-op terms.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or equivalent degree.
• Focus in Business Management or Administration, with supporting education or experience in digital technology; or Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics with supporting education or experience in business management.
• Consulting toolkit, including strategic frameworks for ambiguous problems, quantitative data analysis, and synthesizing research into recommendations.
• Excellent MS PowerPoint skills, including storyboard-to-finished-product development and speaker notes.
• Excellent MS Excel skills, including analyzing, visualizing, interpreting, and communicating data-driven insights.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, technology strategy, finance, or related positions considered an asset.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code considered an asset.
• Experience with executive or senior-management communications considered an asset.
• Experience or demonstrated familiarity with software delivery lifecycles considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the AI 4 IT Transformation Office.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to solve ambiguous problems and develop recommendations related to AI agents and agentic solutions.
• Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis across initiatives to identify opportunities, risks, dependencies, and emerging trends.
• Develop executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, communication materials, and strategic recommendations.
• Support AI 4 IT workstreams by structuring working sessions, synthesizing stakeholder input, tracking decisions, and converting workshop outcomes into actionable next steps.
• Provide project management, risk and blocker resolution, and workstream support for ad-hoc transformation office requests.
• Support change management, communications, and adoption strategies for scaling agentic solutions.
• Identify adoption growth opportunities beyond initial target user groups.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
• Analyze adoption, value realization, and operational metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
