Job summary

Bombardier invites applications for a Senior AI Software Analyst to shape and deliver enterprise AI solutions. You will work across Production, Methods, Planning and IT to embed AI models in SAP S/4HANA and other systems, ensuring scalability and measurable business value.

We value deep expertise in solution architecture, data-driven technologies and full-stack integration, with a focus on collaborative problem solving and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise systems with AI focus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, React, PySpark, REST APIs, and full‑stack integration.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Methods applications and AI-enabled tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify digital enablement needs.
• Lead portfolio assessments to identify redundancies and consolidations of tools.
• Establish governance for tool selection and adoption, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Deploy and integrate AI models into enterprise systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) with emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Maintain clean, modular code following best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay current on AI/ML and software engineering to propose relevant innovations.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Act as the subject matter expert for Methods applications and AI-enabled tools, maintaining a clear view of the organization’s technology landscape.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Methods, Planning, Health & Safety, Customer Delivery) to identify operational needs and opportunities for digital enablement.
• Lead application portfolio assessments to identify redundancies, gaps, and opportunities to consolidate, standardize, or retire tools.
• Establish and enforce governance for tool selection and adoption, including the evaluation and approval of any new applications to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and IT strategy.
• Deploy and integrate new and existing AI models into enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA. Ensure performance, scalability and responsiveness of AI-powered applications to drive measurable business value.
• Contribute to model lifecycle management, including monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement. (fix responsibilities so that it's not deployment and desgining but more with feedback above and notes)
• Maintain clean, modular and well-documented code following best practices.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, incorporate feedback, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Stay current on advancements in AI/ML and Software Engineering to proactively introduce relevant innovations to the organization.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise systems, or application landscape management, including experience with AI and data-driven technologies.
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• You have strong proficiency in Python, SQL, React, PySpark, REST APIs, and full-stack integration.
• You have hands‑on experience implementing machine learning models, including time series forecasting, predictive analytics, image recognition, and natural language processing (NLP).
• You have experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, AI Foundry, App Services, AKS, and Blob Storage.
• You have proficiency with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps, and application lifecycle management tools.You have experience scripting in Linux and/or PowerShell.
• You have strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
