Bombardier seeks a Software Development Leader to define and drive the technical vision across digital and AI initiatives, delivering scalable solutions in collaboration with business teams. The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and 8+ years in software development, including leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven experience delivering software from concept to production with SDLC, Agile, and DevOps.
• Experience designing architectures for cloud, data platforms, AI/ML, or digital manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Azure, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and AI frameworks.

How to thrive in this role?

• You possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• You possess 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• You have proven experience delivering software solutions from concept through production and ongoing support, with strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• You have experience designing architectures for cloud, integration, data platforms, AI/ML, or digital manufacturing (aerospace experience is an asset).
• You master tools and technologies relevant to architecture (e.g., Azure, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, AI frameworks, enterprise integration platforms).
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills; you easily synthesize complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You can communicate in both French and English, written and spoken.
