Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Data Integration/BI Analyst to build and optimize ETL/ELT processes, develop scalable data models, and support analytics across enterprise systems. You will work with SQL Server, SAP S/4HANA, Databricks and cloud platforms to deliver trusted data assets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data integration, analytics, or BI
• Strong SQL and T-SQL skills with performance tuning
• Experience with Databricks and cloud platforms
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing
• Experience integrating ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA)
• Familiarity with Power Apps/Power Platform
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes across data sources (SQL Server, SAP S/4HANA, cloud)
• Develop and maintain database objects (procedures, views, indexes)
• Design dimensional data models (star/snowflake)
• Develop data pipelines with SSIS, Databricks, and SQL-based tools
• Implement data governance, security, and access controls
• Monitor and optimize pipelines, reporting, and DB performance
• Support self-service analytics with curated datasets and reusable data products
• Collaborate with business/tech teams and participate in Agile (Azure DevOps)
• Contribute to modern enterprise data platform evolution
• Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and monitoring

What are your contributions to the team?

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes that integrate data from SQL Server, SAP S/4HANA, cloud platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain database objects including stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, and queries.
• Design scalable data models using dimensional modeling techniques, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Develop and support data pipelines and transformation processes using SSIS, Databricks, and SQL-based technologies.
• Implement data governance, security, and access controls to ensure trusted and compliant data assets.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines, reporting solutions, and database performance.
• Support self-service analytics through curated datasets and reusable data products.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Participate in Agile delivery practices using Azure DevOps.
• Support data quality through testing, validation, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
• Contribute to the evolution of modern enterprise data platforms.

How to thrive in this role?

• 2+ years of experience delivering data integration, analytics, reporting, or business intelligence solutions.
• Strong SQL and T-SQL skills, including query optimization, performance tuning, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms.
• Understanding of data warehousing and lakehouse architectures, including dimensional modeling, data marts, semantic layers, medallion architecture, and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and operational processes.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications such as SAP S/4HANA, ERP platforms, or other large-scale business systems.
• Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Platform solutions, and business process automation.
• Understanding of data governance, security, master data management, and data quality best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an inquisitive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
