Job Title: AI Product Designer

Location: Remote (Canada)

Start date: ASAP (strong potential for extension)

As a Product Designer on this team, you will:

• Utilize your strong interaction and visual design skills to create amazing products and elevate design.
• Plan and implement strategies that ensure our design work drives customer value and helps us meet our business goals.
• Document final designs in a point-of-reference/specification, adjust design systems, and work directly with marketing to produce consumer-facing experiences.
• Identify areas for improvement in our processes, products, or culture, and lead or influence necessary changes.

Requirements:

• Portfolio review with design lead.
• 10+ years of experience designing user interfaces for web, software, and/or hardware products.
• Ability to read and synthesize product specifications and generate related design specifications or briefs. When specifications are incomplete, help derive and document them.
• Proficiency in creating graphic templates, presentations, process flows, information architecture diagrams, documentation, sketches, wireframes, and other UX artifacts.
• Strong knowledge of design principles: color, typography, layout, branding.
• Ability to understand technology issues and communicate effectively.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS) is preferred.
• Fluency with design software tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Basic animation skills in Figma required; advanced skills (e.g., After Effects) are a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Salary Range: CAD $100,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on factors like location, skills, and experience.
