Manulife is seeking a User Experience Designer to support AI-powered applications for internal teams like finance, risk, and HR. You’ll craft intuitive experiences that enable teams to work smarter and faster while embedding AI thoughtfully throughout workflows.

This hands-on role focuses on problem-solving in complex environments, advocating for AI in the UX process and applying established UI patterns across tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional UX design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving, interaction design, and workflow design.
• Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with internal functional teams to understand needs, constraints, and opportunities.
• Translate requirements, concepts, and data insights into usable, intuitive wireframes, flows, and prototypes using Figma.
• Design end-to-end user experiences for AI-enabled internal tools, workflows, and applications.
• Apply and adhere to the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across tools.
• Clearly communicate design intent, decisions, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Use AI tools throughout the design process for exploration, ideation, and prototyping.
• Advocate for the thoughtful use of AI in UX practice, helping teams understand where and how it can add value.
