Job summary

Passage, a Toronto-based education startup, seeks a marketing engineer to own its paid and organic channels across 15 countries. You’ll drive budgets, audiences, and creative rotation while advancing an AI-assisted in-house platform for ad automation.

You’ll balance performance with brand integrity, work across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and SEO, and build tooling to scale campaigns and measure outcomes with robust analytics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of performance marketing and engineering experience.
• Deep API knowledge across at least two major ad platforms.
• Strong data fluency with SQL and funnel math.
• Ability to design and defend a marketing metric.
• Experience with safety, guardrails, and idempotent automation.

Responsibilities

• Own paid channels: manage budgets, audiences, creative rotation.
• Own marketing performance metrics and weekly cadence.
• Own brand across surfaces with AI-enabled brand system.
• Grow organic alongside paid through SEO and content.
• Develop automation within the in-house platform and extend it.
• Measure with UTM, naming conventions, and cross-platform analyses.
