Job summary

Air Canada seeks a Technical Lead – Data and Artificial Intelligence to architect and guide an enterprise AI platform. You will align AI strategy with governance, security, and reusable services, enabling deployment of AI products across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to enable knowledge models, observability, testing, and evaluation, while ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for airline operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics and Statistics.
• Experience leading design and operation of enterprise platforms and services.
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool integration.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, APIs, CI/CD, IaC, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, integration, and operation of an enterprise AI platform.
• Translate requirements into technical designs, backlogs, and milestones.
• Define modular, secure, observable platform architecture.
• Integrate AI platforms, agent frameworks, knowledge services, and observability tools.
• Establish testing, evaluation, telemetry, and governance capabilities.
