  • Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging AI capabilities to inform product direction and maintain Air Canada's competitive advantage.
  • Define success metrics and value realization targets for AI products.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products from ideation through deployment, adoption, optimization, and retirement.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to ensure product roadmaps balance short-term value delivery with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Manage product trade-offs and investment decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure delivered capabilities align with product objectives and expected business outcomes.
  • Monitor product performance and continuously identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
Feature Definition & Prioritization
  • Capture, refine, and prioritize product features, AI capabilities, and enhancement opportunities that support the product vision and business objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, users, and delivery teams to translate strategic objectives into a clear, value-driven product backlog.
  • Define feature objectives, expected outcomes, and success criteria.
  • Evaluate and prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, strategic alignment, technical feasibility, scalability, risk, and effort.
  • Continuously reassess priorities based on business needs, user feedback, product performance, and evolving market opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing business context, guidance, and clarification to delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure features are sequenced appropriately to maximize value realization while supporting long-term product evolution.
AI Product Leadership
  • Serve as the primary product lead for AI products.
  • Develop a deep understanding of AI product development, including machine learning, generative AI, AI agents, copilots, and model lifecycle management.
  • Understand how AI capabilities, data assets, workflows, and user experiences must be integrated to create effective and scalable products.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, AI Engineering, Architecture, UX, and Governance teams to shape product direction and delivery plans.
  • Ensure products are designed with scalability, operational sustainability, governance, risk management, privacy, and security considerations in mind.
Stakeholder Management & Value Realization
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on AI product opportunities.
  • Lead product discovery workshops and business engagement sessions.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmaps, investment recommendations, and achieved outcomes to business and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive product adoption and change management activities to maximize business value.
  • Measure product success through adoption, business outcomes, operational impact, and customer value creation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Digital Products, AI Products, Data Products, or related technology roles.
