Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited seeks a Principal Architect – AI & Data Platforms to lead enterprise architecture for AI, data platforms, and governance. You will define architecture strategy, design scalable data and AI solutions, and mentor teams to drive large-scale transformation across the organization.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align with enterprise standards, guide build vs. buy decisions, and promote standardized, reusable platforms.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data platforms, or AI/ML solutions.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale AI and data solutions.
• Experience with Azure (preferred) or GCP; knowledge of AWS beneficial.
• Knowledge of governance, security, and compliance in data/AI domains.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve AI and Data Platform architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design modern data platforms and scalable AI/ML systems on cloud platforms.
• Lead governance, standards, and solution design across projects.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture solutions.
• Mentor architecture teams and promote engineering excellence.
