Job summary

Alquemy in Toronto is seeking an Automation Engineer to blend software development, test automation, AI, and DevOps to raise quality and delivery of enterprise applications.

You will build automated testing solutions, develop CI/CD pipelines, and apply AI-powered tooling to accelerate test generation, regression analysis, and productivity across teams.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software development, test automation, or a similar engineering role.
• Strong Python skills, preferably with pytest, pandas, and NumPy.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• Strong Git and software development practices.
• Experience working with complex enterprise applications or business-critical systems.
• Comfortable with hands-on testing, debugging, and detailed data analysis.

About the Role
