Job summary

JD Power seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering – AI & Innovation to lead the AI & Innovation function, own the people, roadmap, and outcomes, and report to the VP of Architecture. This remote role spans USA and Canada, coordinating eight peer clusters, Product, and business units to deliver strategic AI initiatives.

You will hire, coach, and grow the team, translate enterprise AI strategy into a quarterly roadmap, manage the operating cadence, and ensure governance and security are woven into

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with direct people management.
• Experience leading AI/ML or innovation-focused engineering teams.
• Ability to translate strategy into executable roadmaps and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and grow the AI & Innovation function and set performance objectives.
• Own team roadmap and quarterly delivery cadence with VP of Architecture.
• Lead three-gate intake process and balance demand with capacity.
• Partner with DevOps, InfoSec, and Data Governance to ensure governance.
• Report PoC velocity, adoption rates, and AI Standards compliance to leadership.
