Job summary

RBC is seeking a Software Developer - AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy agentic AI and LLM applications. You will work on NLP, RAG pipelines, and secure, scalable back‑end services while applying modern AI frameworks and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, 3+ years in AI/ML apps
• Expert-level Python programming, production-grade code
• Deep experience designing NLP and Generative AI apps
• Experience with vector databases, LLMs, RAG pipelines
• Advanced Python libraries: NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn
• Strong frontend skills with React/JS; full-stack capabilities
• Experience with Git and GitHub Actions
• Cloud platforms knowledge (OCP/Azure/AWS) and web services
• SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization
• Middleware tech (MQSeries/Kafka, Redis)
• Cybersecurity best practices in coding

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize NLP and Generative AI applications using Python
• Build responsive frontends using React and JavaScript
• Develop AI-driven security tools and automation, leveraging embedding strategies
• Create deployment pipelines to OpenShift, Azure, AWS and containerize with Docker
• Integrate Gen AI solutions with SIEM systems and ensure secure coding
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in Python and AI frameworks
• Perform root-cause analysis and optimize back-end performance
• Collaborate with security architects, product teams, and stakeholders
