Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to architect agentic AI systems, develop NLP/Generative AI apps in Python, and lead a team in enterprise environments.

You will design scalable pipelines, build React-based frontends, deploy to cloud platforms, and mentor developers while ensuring secure, high‑performing solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years focused on AI/ML applications.
• Expert-level Python programming; write production‑grade, efficient, maintainable code.
• Deep experience designing and deploying NLP and Generative AI applications.
• Proven expertise with vector databases, LLMs, and RAG pipeline architectures.
• Advanced proficiency with AI frameworks (FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph) and Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit‑learn).
• Strong frontend development skills with React and JavaScript; ability to build or architect full‑stack AI solutions.
• Experience with Source Code Management (Git) and GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (OpenShift, Azure, AWS) and web services (SOAP, REST).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
• Proficiency with middleware technologies (MQSeries/Kafka, Redis).

What will you do?
