Job summary

Everforth Apex in Toronto, ON is seeking an AI Enablement Specialist/Engineer to rapidly turn ideas into working AI-enabled prototypes within Equity Technology. You’ll embed AI responsibly into engineering workflows and shape how AI adds value across the group.

You’ll build PoCs for real Equity LOB use cases, champion AI-assisted practices across the SDLC, and partner with tech and business teams to identify, validate, and scale high-value opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python with common frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and deployment patterns.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Frontend web development with React.
• Strong understanding of agentic coding practices and responsible use.
• Experience across the SDLC.
• Awareness of enterprise architecture needs: scalability, security, traceability, instrumentation.
• Knowledge of Generative AI patterns (RAG, agents, embeddings) and AI governance/risk awareness.
