Job summary

Canadian Tire Financial Services seeks an AI-first Business System Engineer to design, build, and enable AI-powered workflows within Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools. You will craft agent designs, prompts, and guardrails while promoting responsible AI usage and governance.

You will also coach teams on leveraging AI-enabled processes for improved productivity and traceability. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with BSA, Product, Engineering, and QA to rollout scalable AI

Qualifications

Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and improving AI agents using Atlassian Rovo Studio or comparable low-code/no-code platforms.
Strong understanding of how Jira and Confluence work together to support requirements, work item creation, traceability, and knowledge management.
Experience with Atlassian automation, marketplace apps, integrations, or reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and enable AI agents that help teams automate repetitive tasks, decompose requirements, create and update work items, summarize information, and improve decision-making.
Configure and administer Atlassian capabilities across Jira and Confluence, including project settings, workflows, permissions, templates, fields, automation rules, and knowledge structures.
Document agent designs, automation logic, configuration decisions, and operating procedures aligned with governance standards.
Partner with BSA, Solution Architecture, Product, Engineering, QA, Delivery, and business teams to identify high-value AI and automation use cases.
