Job summary
AutoCanada is hiring an AI Engineer for its Information Management team at the Edmonton, AB home office. You will translate business problems into agent specs, design AI agents with Azure AI Foundry, and integrate them with enterprise tools, data sources, and APIs.
The role emphasizes production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of AI agents. You will collaborate with business leaders to shape AI strategy, build practical AI solutions, and accelerate data-driven decision making
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in software/AI engineering or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, agents, and tool integration.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and artifacts compatible with CI/CD processes.
Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into agent specifications and success criteria.
- Design and build AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft technologies.
- Integrate agents with enterprise tools, data sources, and APIs.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize agent instructions, prompts, and workflows.
- Deploy, monitor, and support agents in production environments.
