Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking an experienced SRE/Platform Engineer to lead reliable, scalable services across AWS/Azure. You will guide squads on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns, architect CI/CD with GitHub Actions and AI‑assisted checks, and own Datadog observability and security practices.

Ideally you have hands‑on Linux/Windows admin skills, IIS/.NET and Java Spring Boot experience, and a track record delivering DevSecOps pipelines with strong security integrations.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience in SRE/DevOps/Platform Engineering across AWS and Azure.
• Proficient in administering Linux and Windows; experience with IIS/.NET and Java Spring Boot.
• Experienced in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with security gates and code scanning.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security (IAM, secrets management) and container imaging security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services. Guide squads on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns.
• Partner with Fitch Development and Operations to design service builds, DevOps tooling, and operational excellence.
• Architect and govern GitHub Actions CI/CD with quality gates, canary/blue‑green, and AI-assisted redeploy checks.
• Own observability in Datadog—define SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, alerts, and integrations; reduce incidents via telemetry automation.
