Job summary

Real Matters Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Manager to become an expert in our platform and translate customer and business needs into scalable capabilities.

You will partner with stakeholders and Engineering to execute roadmaps, writing clear technical specs and leading from discovery to release. As we evolve AI-enabled products, you will identify high-impact opportunities and ship high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing, defining and building SaaS based products.
• 2+ years of technical experience, ideally as a Technical / System Business Analyst.
• Product management or equivalent experience, with a track record of delivering web-based products & services.
• Technical knowledge in SaaS based systems, preferably transaction platforms, web service protocols (REST, SOAP), databases (MySQL).
• Familiarity with responsible-AI practices (privacy/security, data governance, model limitations/bias).
• Ability to understand technical architecture of complex and scalable web applications.
• Must be comfortable influencing priorities with senior leadership and technical teams.
• Strong communication, client facing and presentation skills using PowerPoint & BI tools (Looker).
• Able to manage clients and expectations under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand goals and desired outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops to elicit, clarify, and prioritize requirements.
• Document user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for Engineering.
• Map current-state and future-state processes identifying gaps.
• Lead backlog refinement ensuring clarity, completeness, prioritization.
• Support delivery, testing, and release readiness with Engineering, QA, and Operations.
• Coordinate and support UAT, including test cases and validation.
• Analyze data to validate outcomes, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
• Create stakeholder communications for status, risks, decisions, and next steps.
• Triage production issues and document root-cause learnings.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and drafting of stories.
• Help design AI-powered user experiences and workflows.
