Job summary

Trulioo is seeking a Software Engineer in Canada to join the Fraud & Risk team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software that generates fraud signals and processes identity data at scale within our big data infrastructure.

You will collaborate with peers across Product, DevOps, QA, and other engineers to deliver features and improve platform reliability. A growth mindset, strong testing, and the use of AI-assisted tooling will be valued as part of our engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable systems in production.
• Strong experience with microservices or distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and engineers to break down requirements into tasks.
• Drive quality through testing, automation, and CI.
• Contribute to engineering standards and system design decisions.
