Job summary

Trulioo in Vancouver hosts a dynamic Manager, Engineering role, leading mobile and web teams across iOS, Android, and Web to deliver customer-ready experiences.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, set technical direction, and partner with Product, Design, and leadership to translate business priorities into reliable software. This hybrid role emphasizes AI-driven productivity and secure, compliant tooling.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including native mobile, web development, or related product delivery.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership, team leadership, or engineering management role.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and feedback skills.
• Strong technical judgement for architecture and delivery tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication linking technical work to customer value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach engineers across iOS, Android, and Web to build a collaborative, high-delivery team.
• Own mobile and web delivery end to end from discovery to release with planning, sequencing, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Set technical direction for mobile/web architecture, integration patterns, and quality standards.
• Partner with Product and UX to shape customer-focused experiences aligned to product strategy.
• Coordinate with backend, platform, identity, data, and GTM teams to stay aligned with business priorities.
• Establish engineering practices for code quality, testing, release readiness, observability, accessibility, and performance.
• Leverage AI to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure responsible AI use across the team.
