Job summary

Intact is recruiting an AI Developer intern to join our growing Digital, Data and Tech team in Montreal. You will build and test AI products, analyze datasets, and collaborate in an agile squad while documenting progress and contributing to deployments.

We expect active student status for Winter 2027, with return to school in Summer or Fall 2027. The role requires bilingual communication and eligibility to work in Canada, with a hybrid work setup in Montreal.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in AI, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Available to work full-time, 35 hours/week, Winter 2027 Term in hybrid mode (January to April).
• Must be an active student during internship and returning to school in Summer/Fall 2027 Term.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI products: write clean code, create small prototypes, and validate with unit tests.
• Turn complex data into insights: analyze datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Collaborate in an agile squad: standups, brainstorm solutions, use Confluence/Jira for collaboration.
• Ship with confidence: document workflows, support deployments, share estimates, assist production handoffs.
• Stay current on new approaches and bring them to your solutions.
