Responsibilities

• Deploy, test, measure & verify AI control algorithms for existing building control systems.
• Analyze and improve the building control system to optimize energy consumption and the zoning comfort.
• Contribute to the development of HVAC algorithms.
• Participate cross-functionally with teams for building deployments & performance analysis.
• Work closely with customers to develop new HVAC control sequences, advise on repairs.
• Improve tools, templates, and processes related to energy consumption analysis and building performance analysis.
• Able to understand HVAC mechanical plans and wiring diagrams.
• Provide training on HVAC system controls to customers.
• Document work processes and procedures.
• Identify, analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Provide, analyze and review performance reports & advise corrective action plans & review feedback with different departments.
• Other tasks as assigned

What you will do:

What you will bring:

• DEC or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or related field 5 plus years of experience with building automation and HVAC control system
• Experience with DDC, PLC or similar programming in BAS and HVAC control
• In-depth knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC, electrical and building operations
• Experience with commissioning building HVAC automation controls and systems
• Thorough understanding of building control theory and concepts
• Diverse experience in proprietary controls is a plus (JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Alerton, Delta, Niagara, Schneider/TAC, etc.)
• Experience with building management system protocols like, BACnet, Modbus, Lonworks
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, charismatic and able to present easily.
• Strong Energy Management and performance checking skills.
• Strong Trend log reading, analysis, finding actionable insights & reporting skills .
• Familiar with the programming language python

Language Requirements

French-English bilingualism is required. In addition to fluency in French, successful candidates must have full professional proficiency in English in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or various stakeholders.

Compensation
