Job summary

Blakes, Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) is seeking an Innovation Adoption Manager, Business Services to lead AI and technology adoption across the firm's business services. You will manage firm projects, partner with teams to drive efficiency and enhance client service, and guide change management during technology rollouts.

The role requires a background in education or technology, plus experience in AI adoption and 2–3 years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Background in education or technology.
• Experience in AI adoption.
• 2–3 years in technology adoption, training/instructional design or related field, with substantive experience in business process improvements and change management.
• Experience working with legal technology and/or in a law firm environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business services teams nationally to identify opportunities where AI could optimize processes.
• Identify pain points that can be addressed through technology or process redesign.
• Build relationships across business services teams, integrating AI and technology into day-to-day work, driving adoption.
• Regularly evaluate the Firm’s legal technology offerings, research and recommend solutions to improve collaboration and efficiency.
• Lead change management for technology rollouts, including communications planning, stakeholder engagement and measuring adoption success.
• Evaluate impact of process changes and implement strategies to minimize risk.
