Qualifications

3+ years’ experience performing agricultural equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, construction, or related complex mechanical repairs.
Strong mechanical aptitude with engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and powertrain knowledge.
Experience with diagnostic software and electronic service tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanship.
Use diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and complete complex repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specifications.
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentation.
Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products and other equipment supported by the dealership.
Participate in manufacturer, dealer-led, and technical training programs to further develop skills.
Work closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectively.
