Job summary

Nelson Motors and Equipment in Saskatchewan is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Technician to diagnose, service, and maintain agricultural and turf machines, both in the field and in the shop.

You will build strong customer relationships, mentor apprentices, and work with a team to deliver high-quality, reliable service; John Deere experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified trade in Agriculture Equipment or Heavy-Duty Equipment, or 3rd/4th level apprentice; John Deere cert is a strong asset.
• Minimum 5 years of diagnostics and service repairs experience; John Deere equipment experience preferred.
• Computer skills with Service Advisor/Service Center considered a plus.
• Physically capable to lift at least 75 lbs and perform demanding tasks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Diagnose complex issues and perform service repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.

About the Role

As an Agricultural Equipment Technician, you are self ‑ motivated to perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment while supporting an exceptional customer experience. You work effectively both in ‑ field and in ‑ shop, building strong relationships with customers, junior technicians, and other location personnel.

For you to be considered for an interview you have the following qualifications:

• Completed a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar. May consider 3rd or 4th level apprentice; John Deere certified a strong asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing diagnostics and service repairs. Experience servicing John Deere equipment preferred.
• Computer skills required, Service Advisor and/or Service Center an asset.
• Physically capable to perform the job, with the ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required.
