Job summary

Norsat International is seeking a marketing professional to promote agricultural technologies across the GVA, building relationships with farmers, agronomists and partners.

The role focuses on explaining technology-driven solutions to improve yields and efficiency, coordinating with marketing and engineering teams, and representing the company at events.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Urban Planning, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of farming and environmental science.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador at local farms, community centers and schools to promote agriculture technologies.
  • Build trusted relationships with growers, agronomists, retailers, cooperatives, and service providers.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend technology-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce input costs, and increase yields.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, operations) to align business strategies.
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).

What You’ll Do
